 Tamil Nadu Summer Seminar 2008 ::
 

By Our Holy Mother’s Grace, the Summer Seminar of Tamil Nadu will be conducted on the 16th, 17th and 18th May 2008 at Jai Gopal Garodia National School, Bharat Mata Street, Chitlapakkam, Tambaram, Chennai – 600 045. As usual this will be an intense workshop aimed at helping the Sahaja Yogis to go deeper in Sahaj.

Chennai, formerly known as Madras , is the capital of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Located on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal, Chennai has an estimated population of 7.5 million (2007), making it the fourth largest metropolitan city in India and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world. The name Chennai is derived from Chennapattinam, the name of the town that grew up around Fort St. George, built by the British in 1640. There are different versions about the origin of the name. Chennai's economy has a broad industrial base in the automobile, technology, hardware manufacturing, and healthcare industries. The city is home to much of India's automobile industry and is the country's second-largest exporter of Software, information technology and information-technology-enabled services, behind Bangalore. The city is served by an international airport and two major ports; it is connected to the rest of the country by five national highways and two railway terminals. Thirty-five countries have consulates in Chennai.

Separate rooms / halls will be provided for ladies and gents for their stay during the seminar. A maximum of 200 participants only can be accommodated in this place. Hence we request you to please intimate your participation as early as possible. Participants are advised to bring their beddings, toiletries, medicines etc. The weather will be warm (around 35ºC).

The Seminar is scheduled to start on 16th May by 10.00am and conclude by 4.00pm on 18th May 2008. The programme will consist of Early Morning Meditation, Shoe Beating & Foot Soaking, Talks on Topics relating to Vertical Growth, Inner Personality Development, Improving Inter-personal relationships, Medical Aspects, Introspection on Shri Mataji’s messages, Havan, Puja etc. In the evenings there will be group games and cultural programmes. The programme will be in English.

maximum participation. Kindly register immediately and get a confirmation on your registration from the undersigned. There will be no spot registration at the venue.

These charges take care of the accommodation and food arrangements from 18 th morning till 4pm on 20 th May 2007 . Participation will be restricted to a maximum of 200, strictly on a first come first served basis. The payments may be made at the venue on arrival.

 

The venue is less than 1km away from Tambaram Sanatorium station. One may take a local electric train to Tambaram Sanatorium from Park Station, opposite Chennai Central Station. From Chennai airport the venue will be about 10km away.
